How you'll make a difference
In this role you will undertake a wide range of analytical and assurance activities related to the Society's capital position and provision amount, engaging with the Credit Risk modelling team and various teams within Finance to explain reasons for any movements in either the capital or provision numbers and to provide assurance of the provision amount this includes development of any post model adjustments (PMAs) to be used within IFRS9. You will also provide assurance, as required, to external and internal audit/validation teams.
You will analyse the key drivers of movements within the Society's capital and provision numbers; providing the rationale for these on a monthly, quarterly and half-yearly basis to support the required regulatory returns and monthly provision assurance.
