Job Description
Goal of the position:
This Graduate Accountant role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across all aspects of a professional finance role within industry, with a clear path for progression to chartered status and beyond. The position includes full study support for ACCA or CIMA qualifications. Candidates should have strong academic records and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain division datasets, along with related financial reporting and analysis.
* Assist the Finance Team, working closely with the European Financial Controller, with month-end close processes including financial reporting, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
* Monitor inventory use, standard cost variances, and support the annual cost roll.
* Partner with controllers to produce custom reports and streamline financial reporting processes.
* Identify opportunities for improvements within the finance team and undertake analyses that could positively impact the business. Support expense management.
* Take ownership of a wide range of activities as required to support the finance department and expand your knowledge.
Qualifications:
* Degree qualified with at least a 2:1 classification.
* Motivated to pursue professional qualifications.
* Curious with a mindset for continuous improvement.
* Strong analytical thinking skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and willing to learn systems such as MS D365 and Power BI.
