Role Overview: Location: Hybrid – 4 days/week on-site in London or Gloucester Package: Competitive salary benefits training security clearance bonus Industry: Technology / Data Management / Enterprise Solutions What You’ll Be Doing: Designing and delivering automation workflows tailored to client needs Advising clients on integrating automation with third-party platforms and services Mapping and modelling business processes to solve complex technical challenges Scripting and developing solutions using a mix of languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell) Working hands-on with tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef Supporting projects across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Collaborating with clients, internal teams, and external vendors Contributing to service improvements and staying sharp through ongoing certifications Main Skills Needed: Previous experience in a technical consultancy or IT operations role Knowledge of automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Solid scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.) Familiarity with orchestration using YAML and REST APIs Experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure-as-Code tools Strong analytical thinking and workflow design ability ITIL Foundation certification (V3 or V4) is a plus Must be eligible for high-level Security Clearance (or currently hold it) What’s in It for You: Regular collaboration with a tight-knit, friendly team Ongoing support from management and peers A culture that values diversity, curiosity, and growth Access to global career pathways and certification support A role with impact, visibility, and variety — no two days the same Let’s skip the hard sell — this is just a brilliant role.
