Your day as an apprentice:
As an Aggreko apprentice, no two daysare the same. Each day begins with a team briefing focused on safety and priorities.You’llthenwork closely with aseniorengineeron a wide range of taskson site–from equipmenttesting andpreparation toelectricalservicing and fault diagnosis. Throughout,you’llbuild practical skills with hands-on support and guidance, alwaysworking safelyto keep everyone safe.
Whatyou’lllearn anddo
1. Assistcable team with cablecolouridentification and hand tool usage / Learn andapply product-specific codes for electrical items
2. Work on low voltage electrical distribution including distribution boards, panels, switchboards, and cable management, understanding input/output and progressing towards electrical testing of equipment and systems.
3. Develop your knowledge and confidence using a range of hand tools
4. Worksafelytokeep everyone safe
5. Collaborate with teams to deliver excellent service and contribute to key projects
6. Use IT tools like laptops and mobile devices to support your work
7. Balancepractical work experience with college study towards a Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technicianqualification
