Our client is a specialist food produce manufacturer, who due to internal movement require an experienced Supervisor to oversee all purchase ledger and sales ledger transactional services. 1. Management of all Purchase and Sales Ledger Staff
2. Ensuring the team hit daily targets.
3. Manage petty cash balances
4. Monitoring company spends
5. Prepare journals
6. Balance sheet reconciliation
7. Producing management information reports using excel and their inhouse system.
8. Control and monitor complaints
9. Monitor debtors
10. Assisting with the transactional accounts function as and when required i.e.. Covering holidays/sickness absences
11. Providing support to management as and when required
The ideal candidate would have been a finance/accounts or purchase ledger supervisor previously and be confident managing a team. You will be flexible, punctual, and able to meet multiple deadlines, as well as having commercial awareness and the ability to deliver high standards of work. A can-do approach is essential. You will be a competent user of Microsoft packages and able to pick up accounting systems with ease.
