Are you organised, detail‑focused, and looking to grow your career in finance? We're looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join our team and support the smooth running of our finance department. You'll take ownership of both the sales ledger and purchase ledger, manage financial documents, and be a key point of contact for clients and suppliers.

What You'll Be Doing
Sales Ledger
* Processing and issuing customer invoices
* Allocating customer payments
* Monitoring outstanding debt and sending customer statements
* Handling sales ledger queries professionally
Purchase Ledger
* Processing supplier invoices and matching to PO/delivery notes
* Preparing supplier payment runs and remittances
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Responding to supplier queries
Admin & Document Management
* Scanning, filing, and archiving financial documents
* Emailing invoices, statements, remittances, and other finance correspondence
* Maintaining accurate and organised electronic/paper records
General Finance Support
* Assisting with month‑end tasks and reconciliations
* Supporting audits and providing documentation
* Resolving queries raised internally and externally
* Providing day‑to‑day admin support across the team
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
* Understanding of sales and purchase ledger processes
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident communicating by email and phone
* Comfortable using accounting software and MS Excel
* A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable (not essential):
* AAT Level 2 or above (or studying)
* Experience within commercial Interior fit out sector
