Job Description
* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, providing insightful commentary on variances.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
* Reconcile balance sheets and ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
* Provide financial reports and analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives.
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Monitor and control costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
* Support the year-end audit process by preparing relevant documentation and liaising with auditors.
* Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve reporting systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should:
* Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
* Proven experience in management accounting - Essential
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Essential
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel - Essential
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders - Essential
* A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvement - Essential
