Fostering Social Worker
Pay: £38 per hour

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Fostering Social Worker to join a dedicated fostering team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people by supporting foster carers to provide safe, stable, and nurturing homes.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake assessments of prospective foster carers (Form F assessments)
Provide ongoing supervision, support, and guidance to approved foster carers
Complete annual reviews of fostering households
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes for children
Ensure all safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times
Support placement stability and contribute to care planning
Participate in out-of-hours duty work on a rota basis (if applicable)
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
Proven experience within fostering, kinship, or children's services
Strong assessment and report-writing skills
Sound knowledge of fostering regulations, standards, and safeguarding practice
Ability to build strong relationships with carers, children, and professionals
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
