Interim Technical Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Here at Warwick District Council, we are going through some exciting changes and we want someone to play a key role in improving services. We are looking for someone to develop and deliver our regulatory and planned works programmes for Housing and support transition with the property management of the Council's Corporate property portfolio.
The Council is committed to maintaining its Housing properties to meet the Regulator of Social Housing’s Quality and Safety Standard. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver regulatory workstreams and services for Decent Homes, HHSRS, Damp and Mould, and Disrepair. You will also develop and deliver planned programmes of component replacements and projects to support the decarbonisation agenda. While subject to review, the role also includes a range of critical responsive repairs, planned programmes, and capital projects for the Council's corporate portfolio.
We are looking for a customer-focused manager to work with resident and client groups, deliver the services they have told us they want through engagement, and deliver homes and properties fit for the future. We need a highly motivated and organized individual who can work effectively with the Repairs, Compliance, and Housing teams to meet the Quality and Safety Standards and collaborate with Corporate Building Clients to keep public and commercial leased buildings operating effectively.
Successful applicants must have a thorough understanding of current and pending legislation, regulatory and technical standards, procurement, project, and contract management to ensure that our duties as a landlord and service provider are met, and high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved.
