â What You'll Be Doing
In this fastâpaced, highâprofile role, you will:
Lead monthly payroll processing activities for a workforce of over 4,000 colleagues.
Support tax year end, P11Ds and statutory reporting deadlines.
Help shape and improve payroll processes, controls and service standards.
Contribute to system upgrades and technology enhancements.
Act as a trusted expert for all payroll queries and compliance matters.
Analyse payroll data, spot anomalies and drive corrective action.
Work closely with pensions, HR and finance partners to ensure seamless delivery.Every month will bring a different challenge - and plenty of chances to grow your experience.
â What We're Looking For
You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
Strong UK payroll knowledge and experience managing complex, highâvolume payrolls.
Handsâon experience with statutory reporting (Tax Year End, P11Ds, Payrolling Benefits).
Good working knowledge of payroll systems (ResourceLink experience a bonus).
Excellent attention to detail and confidence analysing payroll data.
A proactive, solutionsâfocused approach and the ability to manage queries independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.A recognised payroll qualification-or working towards one-is a plus, but not essential.
