Job Description:
Overview
We are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our Global Supply Chain team at our Caldicot, South Wales site. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career professional to gain hands‑on experience in data analysis, reporting, and supply chain operations within a large global technology company.
In this role, you will help improve supply continuity, on‑time delivery, inventory performance, and overall operational efficiency by analysing data and supporting key planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collect, clean, and analyse data to support end‑to‑end supply chain improvements.
2. Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
3. Work with data from ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX2012).
4. Collaborate with teams across Engineering, Finance, Operations, IS, and Marketing.
5. Translate data into actionable insights for management.
6. Analyse large datasets related to inventory, delivery performance, revenue, and SIOP.
7. Support new software tools and system improvements for Planning and Operations.
8. Assist with order scheduling, inventory control, MRP analysis, and WIP tracking.
9. Participate in supply chain and planning meetings, providing analytical support.
10. Stay informed on industry, economic, and technology trends relevant to supply chain performance.
11. Support and cross‑train with colleagues when needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
12. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or related field.
13. Basic understanding of supply chain fundamentals.
14. Strong Excel skills (required).
15. Experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI (preferred, not required).
16. Good communication and teamwork skills.
17. Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
18. Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
