We are looking for a Senior Garment Technologist with strong technical execution skills, plus practical product development judgement, to support a Ready-to-Wear womenswear collection spanning activewear, athleisure, denim, jersey, and contemporary woven categories.
This is a tech-first role with selective product development responsibility, focused on fabric selection, construction decisions, pricing awareness, and supplier execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, check, and maintain tech packs, specs, measurements, and workbooks
* Translate design intent into clear, factory-ready technical documentation
* Run fit sessions, issuing precise fit and construction comments
* Measure and review samples across proto, SMS, PPS, and pre-production stages
* Flag fit, construction, or fabric changes that may impact cost, margin, or delivery
* Liaise with offshore factories on technical execution, quality, and timelines
* Track approvals, comments, and technical changes throughout the lifecycle
* Ensure garments meet fit, quality, and compliance standards
* Advise on fabric selection and garment construction to balance design, performance, quality, and cost
* Work with suppliers to ensure prices, MOQs, and lead times are realistic and commercially viable
* Experience in Product Development is highly advantageous.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Garment Technologist within RTW
* Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and pattern interpretation
* Experience across activewear, athleisure, denim, jersey, and woven categories
* Commercial awareness of pricing, margins, and cost implications of technical decisions
* Confident managing tech packs and factory communication end-to-end
* Detail-driven, organised, and comfortable working at pace
* Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
