Main Duties
This post is aimed at senior Gastroenterology trainees or CCT holders (or equivalent), offering opportunities to develop advanced endoscopic techniques, training skills, and interests in areas like IBD clinics, hepatology, capsule endoscopy, and research. The role is based on a successful existing fellow position, involving 50% service endoscopy and 50% training and development tailored to the candidate.

Job Responsibilities
Applicants must be able to perform independent colonoscopy (including level 2 polypectomy) and hold JAG certification (or equivalent) for upper GI and colonoscopy. The hospital has a strong reputation for high-quality endoscopy and training but does not offer ERCP or EUS training as part of this post. This role is ideal for trainees nearing the end of their training, seeking to enhance their endoscopic, gastroenterology, and research skills for future consultant applications.
