The successful applicant will have direct experience working with SEND Tribunal cases (SENDIST) and will play a key role in supporting legal compliance and delivering effective case management around Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Key Responsibilities: Manage and represent the Local Authority in SENDIST appeals and tribunal hearings. Draft legally robust case statements, responses, and evidence bundles in line with SEND legislation. Lead on case preparation and liaison with legal services, schools, and internal SEND teams. Attend resolution meetings and mediate disputes with parents and professionals. Monitor and ensure compliance with EHCP statutory timeframes and tribunal processes.
