An existing opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Senior Nurse with excellent leadership skills to apply for the position of the Senior Nurse Overnight for the Acute Service Directorate. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse who will embrace this dynamic and challenging role.
This post is pivotal in providing professional and clinical leadership to the nursing teams overnight across the Acute Service Directorate. To ensure that the highest standards of practice are maintained and that safe effective person centred care is delivered to the highest standard.
This is an exciting opportunity, the successful individual will have the skill and vision to develop a first class nursing service with a can do attitude focused on achieving a performance that ensures a safe patient experience.
As a member of the senior nursing team, the applicant will provide clinical expertise and management support to nursing teams overnight. As well as this they will promote, develop and manage designated services to facilitate the delivery of appropriate care to the patient population to local and national standards. The post holder will provide care assurance and the delivery of safe, quality nursing services, to the Head of Nursing and across the organisation.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
