Role Description
1. Reports directly to the Operations Leader.
2. Attend standard operating reviews to provide updates on equipment.
3. Communicate equipment constraints to Facilitators and the Operations Leader.
4. Escalate equipment constraints as required.
5. Coordinate getting equipment back up and running when it goes down; act as the single point of contact for the value stream.
6. Manage test equipment requirements and solutions during NPI activities; support project management of NPI activities; liaise with equipment officers in the Pin value stream to ensure compliance with equipment calibration.
7. Lead equipment improvement projects and maintenance to reduce downtime; conduct risk analysis on equipment (e.g., SPOF).
8. Coordinate with calibration, facilities, operations, and TE teams on projects and daily equipment management.
9. Collaborate with NPI & Programs (hardware & software) on final transitioning review (FTR) and equipment upgrades.
10. Support CAPEX requests.
11. Review test equipment failure data to identify trends and take appropriate actions.
12. Identify and drive resolution of critical spares (e.g., cables, PSU, connectors).
13. Maintain and oversee the maintenance schedule.
14. Coordinate across value streams to understand equipment status at the site level.
15. Develop and ensure documented preventative maintenance and repairs on cables.
