Job Description:
We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, building, and equipment. Working within our in-house Engineering team, you will report to the Senior Engineer and be a key part of the wider plant team. The successful candidate will have some experience in mechanical engineering, with a stronger bias towards electrical engineering.
Qualifications required include completing an engineering apprenticeship or similar level 3 qualification.
In this role you will:
* Attend to all mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building issues
* Carry out safety tests as required
* Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment, and facilities
* Undertake a planned preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal use and minimal downtime
* Follow duties as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001:2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and the Company Operations Manual, which may be updated periodically
* Support building maintenance and other ad hoc tasks
* Perform any other assigned tasks
Work schedule includes Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month for PPM tasks. Main work hours are Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, and 07:00 to 14:00 on Friday.
