Position: Teaching Assistant

Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Pay: £13.67 - £15.87 per hour (dependent on experience)
Reeson Education is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the M11 area of Manchester to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time and long-term, with an immediate start and a view to continue into the next academic year. For the right person, the Teaching Assistant role could become permanent.
The school is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 2 supporting both general classroom learning and pupils with additional needs. This Teaching Assistant position would suit someone confident supporting groups as well as providing more targeted 1:1 support where needed for children with SEND. A background in supporting children with Autism, speech and communication needs, or SEMH would be advantageous, though not essential.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will:
Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
Be confident supporting children in KS2, both in class and in small groups
Be proactive, positive and adaptable in a fast-paced school environment
Have an interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
Be committed to working long-term as a Teaching Assistant and looking for career progression
