Your responsibilities:
* Responsible for preparing the market sell-out and in data to support local category management, shopper journey optimisation, and sales & marketing strategy development on a weekly and monthly frequency.
* Support with the management of GfK retail panel data, industry statistics, market estimates, shopper research & data, sell out data and product test results.
* Collect, visualise, and present UK/IE market and industry data (i.e. macroeconomics) effectively to categories, business units, and local sales & marketing teams. This includes explaining the implications of data findings and ensuring stakeholders understand the strategic relevance to drive informed decision-making.

Your profile:
* Analytical Proficiency: The candidate should possess analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets, identify trends. Experience or training in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or Tableau) is a plus.
* Effective Communication Skills: The ability to present data and insights clearly and concisely to various stakeholders is crucial. The intern should be able to explain complex data findings in an understandable manner.
* Curiosity and Proactiveness: A successful candidate should have a curiosity-driven mindset, demonstrating enthusiasm for exploring data and uncovering insights. This includes a willingness to ask questions and seek out additional information to enhance the understanding of shopper behaviour and market trends.
* Collaborative Team Player: The intern should be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment, supporting cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and category management teams. The ability to work well with others and contribute to collective goals is essential.
* Research Skills: Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies will be important for supporting the execution of research projects. The candidate should be detail-oriented, with the ability to conduct data reviews, surveys, and analyses to gather relevant shopper insights effectively.
