1. Assist in the preparation of balanced, appetising meals
2. Perform cooking tasks & other kitchen duties
3. Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas & dining room
4. Wash utensils, dishes & make sure they are stored appropriately
5. Rotate stock & put away all deliveries
6. Maintain personal hygiene to comply with Cygnet standards and food hygiene regulations
7. Handle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures
8. Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

A food hygiene or professional catering qualification is desirable, however, this is not a requirement as we provide full training and excellent opportunities for further career development.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
