As an Endoscopy Nurse / ODP at The Manor Hospital, you’ll be registered with the appropriate governing body. You have the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. Plus, you bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You’re also a great team worker.
Are you a dedicated and compassionate endoscopy nurse or ODP with a passion for delivering exceptional care in endoscopy? We’re looking for someone like you to join our close-knit multidisciplinary team, where your expertise will be valued and your development supported.
In this role, you will:
1. Work alongside leading consultants during a wide range of endoscopic procedures.
2. Support patients through the full pathway, including pre-assessment and post-procedure care.
3. Contribute to a collaborative and respectful team environment, where your voice matters.
4. Manage a varied caseload using state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
5. Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
6. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care that enhances patient outcomes and experience.
7. Promote continuity of care by working effectively with ward and recovery teams.
What we’re looking for:
8. A qualified Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with current NMC/HCPC registration.
9. Experience in endoscopy or a strong interest in developing within this specialty.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
11. A proactive approach to patient safety and service improvement.
12. Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
