Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
The City of Edinburgh Council is looking for a Technical Assistant to join our busy Fleet Services operations. Reporting to the Fleet Compliance Team Leader, you will be part of a team ensuring the fleet and our drivers are fully compliant with current legislation including driving licence checks. In addition, you will support the Compliance team with other transport related activities including, tachograph monitoring and maintenance file checks. So, if you have experience in a transport environment as well as being self-motivated, proactive and attentive to detail we want to hear from you.
The salary package is enhanced by a minimum of 32 days leave per year rising to a maximum of 40 days per year dependant on continuous service, generous employer pension contributions and numerous employee benefits, such as Green Car scheme, Cycle to work, Lifestyle savings and Gym membership.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
