*Role overview*Join Seacroft Mablethorpe, a family-owned Ford Authorized Service and repair center with over 50 years serving Mablethorpe/Louth and the surrounding area. We combine a friendly, long-standing team culture with a large, modern workshop fitted with the latest Ford specialist tooling and diagnostic equipment. As we expand into Hybrid and EV technology, we’re looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician who wants steady hours, real career progression, and ongoing manufacturer training.*What you will do** Service, diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of light vehicles to a high standard.* Work on new vehicles, customer repairs and sales preparation, delivering quality and attention to detail.* Work to industry repair times while maintaining workmanship and safety standards.* If qualified, perform MOT tests in line with DVSA rules; if not, we will provide training to help you gain this qualification.*Why this role is attractive** Great rates of pay, With a range of basic pay from £32K-38K (dependent on experience) and OTE of up to £50K* Stable weekday hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm, or Tuesday to Friday 8:00 am-6:00pm (36Hr week) or alternatively Monday- Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm (40Hr Week)* Career development: regular in-house and manufacturer training, with clear progression into Hybrid and EV work.* Modern workshop: up-to-date tooling and diagnostics, plus a supportive, family-run environment.* Reward and recognition: bonus scheme and performance-based rewards.* Practical benefits: company pension, life insurance, sick pay, employee and store discounts.*Who we’re looking for*You’ll fit this role if you are a Level 2/3 qualified Technician, Automotive Engineer or Mechanic with strong hands-on experience and a professional approach.*Essential requirements** Level 2/3 qualification (NVQ, IMI, C&G or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy, high-volume workshop.* Full UK driving license and your own set of tools.* Reliable, diligent, and committed to completing work to the highest standards.*Desirable but not essential** Qualified MOT tester (training available if not currently qualified).* Experience with diagnostics and modern vehicle systems, including Hybrid/EV exposure.*Practical details** Location: Seacroft Mablethorpe, Seacroft Road, Mablethorpe: LN12 2DT* Type: Full-time, permanent.* Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm, or Tuesday to Friday 8:00 am-6:00pm (36Hr week) or alternatively Monday- Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm (40Hr Week)* Additional pay: Bonus scheme; performance bonus.*How to apply*Send your CV and a short cover note outlining your experience and what you’d like to achieve next in your career.
