HR Manager - Manufacturing - Cookstown
Are you an HR Officer looking for the next step in your career? MCS Group is excited to be working with a growing manufacturing company, recruiting for an HR Manager to join their dynamic team.
Overview: As HR Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all HR functions, in line with wider business goals and strategies. This standalone role offers the opportunity to improve company performance and employee experience through HR processes.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Take ownership of core HR administration, including onboarding, exit procedures, document management, and employee information updates on the HRIS. Respond promptly to related queries.
2. Drive end-to-end recruitment activities, from sourcing candidates to extending offers.
3. Manage graduate and apprenticeship schemes, collaborating with academic institutions to attract emerging talent.
4. Partner with leadership on talent strategy, performance reviews, feedback cycles, and staff development initiatives.
5. Manage Learning & Development programmes, planning and delivering training aligned with business goals.
6. Support employee relations, including managing absences, resolving grievances, and advising on HR policies.
7. Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to build organizational culture and morale.
8. Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic HR initiatives to align HR practices with company objectives.
9. Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, recommending recruitment or internal development solutions.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a similar role within a relevant industry.
* CIPD certification or working towards it.
* Degree in HR Management or related field is advantageous.
* Competent in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
