Data Analytics Lead
Location: Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite at Corsham
Security Clearance: Active SC clearance must-have (DV desirable)
You will lead the design and development of analytics solutions that deliver high-quality identity reporting and actionable insights, supporting identity data migration, data quality remediation, compliance, and governance. This is a hands-on lead/senior developer role, not purely architecture or design. You’ll collaborate closely with identity architects, data engineers, and key stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, enriched, automated, and drives informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the creation of interactive reports and dashboards with tools like Power BI to monitor identity data quality, compliance, and migration progress.
* Build and manage Power Automate workflows to streamline data refresh, notifications, and business process automation.
* Translate business and technical requirements into actionable data visualisations and analytics outputs.
* Work with identity and data engineering teams to define and implement ETL pipelines for cleansing, transforming, and enriching identity data.
* Develop automated reporting solutions to support access management models like RABC/ABAC/MFA/SSO
* Implement data validation and attestation frameworks.
* Engage with stakeholders to prioritise analytics requirements and deliver clear, actionable insights.
* Mentor junior analysts/engineers and champion data best practices.
* Support migration and business change activities with targeted data insights.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in data analytics, with strong Power BI expertise (DAX, Power Query, Dataflows, Power BI Service).
* Proficient in Power Automate for creating and managing automation flows.
* Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data from multiple sources.
* Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Talend).
* Familiarity with identity and access management concepts (SSO, MFA, Entra ID).
* Ability to work with large, complex datasets and apply data quality, profiling, and governance techniques.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to present technical insights to non-technical audiences.
* Understanding of Microsoft security and compliance requirements (advantage).
Desirable Skills
* Experience in Azure data stack (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks).
* Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
* Familiarity with MODCloud.
* Knowledge of information governance frameworks.
