We have an exciting opportunity for a Prescribing Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Fosse Way. Practice Plus Group is delighted to have been awarded the healthcare contract for HMP Fosse Way, a Category C resettlement prison in Leicester, starting from 1st July 2025. HMP Fosse Way opened in May 2023, featuring state-of-the-art design and facilities to provide skills and qualifications to the men, enabling them to secure meaningful employment on release with the aim of reducing reoffending rates.
This position is full-time, with an annual salary of up to £32,346 depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Main duties of the job
* Assess the needs of patients and evaluate risks accordingly, working collaboratively with team members.
* Provide evidence-based care to a caseload of psychosocial patients, listening to and acting on their feedback to ensure personalized and informed care.
* Deliver psychosocial interventions, providing information and advice on substance misuse concerns.
* Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
