We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Night Care Assistant within our residential and short breaks children’s home within Tree Tops. About UsTree Tops provides a continuum of care to children and young adults with disabilities and the children’s homes offer both short breaks and residential placements to children and young people who have a physical and/or learning disability, including those with a complex health need and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated night care assistant to work within our children's home. We are looking for a committed, creative and versatile individual who will be prepared to work a rota which covers 7 days and includes some weekends and bank holidays. To work alongside day care staff to create a family style home environment, and provide care as outlined within each child or young person's individual Care Plan and/or Placement Plan. The successful candidate will be expected to be creative in their approach to implementing sleep routines, working with children and delivering personal care. Applicants will need to have a working knowledge of child development, child protection, child in need and children in care frameworks. Experience of working with disabled children and families with complex needs, including delivering direct personal care is essential. Applicants are required to have as a minimum a level 3 qualification in residential childcare or equivalent or be prepared to work towards this.
