A bit about the role You will be working as part of a team of Business Support Officers within the Children and Families Newcastle Service. In the role of Administrative Officer, you will work as part of a team working with other senior members of staff, including the Senior Business Support Officer, administrators, team leaders and support workers. The role would require good customer service skills and will be based across our sites in Gosforth, Kenton and Lemington. How you’ll help to create brighter futures Working collaboratively as part of a team and provide help and support to other team members. Providing data required by the senior business support officer for internal and external reporting: monthly, quarterly and year-end. Provide day-to-day admin support to the service including reception duties, reporting and monitoring repairs, ordering goods, publicity documents. Let’s talk about you. Experience of working independently to plan and manage your own workload to meet organisational deadlines and shared goals, will be essential. We will actively support you in your role and provide you with relevant training, development, and supervision. Confident communicator with the ability to deliver and manage basic written and oral communication effectively. Organised and can prioritise your workload. A high understanding of Microsoft package specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good attention to detail, highly organised and adaptable to accommodate the needs of the service. Good to know.
