About the role
We're looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Executive to help fuel Node4's continued growth. This is a high‑impact role focused on generating new business opportunities across our highly referenceable vertical markets, working with both new prospects and existing customers.
You'll be at the front line of our go‑to‑market strategy identifying decision‑makers, engaging them through multi‑channel outreach, and securing high‑value meetings that convert into long‑term partnerships.
What You'll Be Doing
Proactively identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across public, private and channel sectors
Engaging prospects through outbound and inbound channels including phone, email and LinkedIn
Booking high‑quality meetings for Account Managers and supporting early‑stage sales conversations
Leveraging Node4's marketing campaigns, content and assets to drive meaningful engagement
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and positioning Node4 as a trusted technology partner
Managing your pipeline effectively and ensuring timely follow‑up on all opportunities
Keeping CRM data accurate and up to date, capturing insights that support sales progression
Working closely with sales, marketing and product teams to maximise results
Consistently working towards and exceeding activity and performance targets
What will you bring?
Proven experience in business development or B2B sales, ideally within IT or technology
Confidence using multi‑channel outreach to engage senior decision‑makers
Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different sectors and audiences
A self‑motivated, target‑driven mindset with the ability to manage your own pipeline
Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
A resilient, proactive approach and the ability to stay motivated in a fast‑paced environment
An interest in technology, particularly cloud, ERP and managed IT services (desirable)
