As the Business Controller / Management Accountant, you will support the central controlling teams in managing the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across all business units. You will collaborate with local business and operational managers to define and propose improvement projects, validate financial data, and ensure robust financial planning aligned with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
2. Assess business cases and proposals for operational investments and performance improvement projects.
3. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to local and central teams, identifying risks and driving improvements.
4. Manage financial controlling activities in categories such as costs, inventory, non-recurring costs, and capital expenditures.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and achieve financial targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in manufacturing or commercial environments.
* Proficient in SAP or similar financial reporting tools.
* Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at various levels and locations.
* Continuous improvement mindset and ability to work in a dynamic team.
* Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and performance management processes.
