Overview

Responsibilities
* Consultations: Conducting routine check-ups, vaccinations, and consultations for various animal species.
* Diagnostics: Performing physical examinations, laboratory tests, and diagnostic imaging procedures.
* Treatments: Administering medications, performing minor surgeries, and providing appropriate treatments for illnesses and injuries.
* Surgery: Assisting in or performing surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, and other surgeries.
* Emergency Care: Handling emergency cases and providing critical care when necessary.
* Client Education: Providing clear and informative advice to clients regarding animal care, preventative measures, and disease prevention.
* Teamwork: Collaborating with other veterinary professionals, including veterinary nurses, technicians, and receptionists, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Qualifications
* Veterinary Medicine Degree: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification.
* Registration: Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
* Experience: Previous experience in veterinary practice, while not essential, is preferred.
* Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. A strong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for veterinary medicine.
