Responsibilities
* The post holder will work in partnership with others to facilitate multidisciplinary working across professional boundaries in health and social care settings by providing a person‑centred nurse‑led service; through investigation, diagnosis and treatment, supporting anticipatory care planning and bereavement as appropriate.
* The ability to work well as part of a team across regional networks is essential, including attendance at South‑East Scotland Cancer Network multidisciplinary clinical meetings and strategic meetings as a deputy for the Lead CNS, in person or virtually.
* Applicants will be asked to give a 10 minute presentation on ‘The Role of the Lung Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist’.
Qualifications
* Five years post registration, with at least two years in a setting relevant to this post.
* Experience of caring for people with complex needs will be advantageous.
* Willingness to undertake clinical and academic training relevant to the clinical requirements of the post is essential.

Salary
Salary is stated for full‑time hours (37 hrs per week). For part‑time appointments, the salary will be pro‑rated.
