Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils in Maths lessons, providing tailored assistance to those who need additional help
* Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 tuition where required
* Work closely with the Maths department and teaching staff to enhance pupil progress
* Help identify learning gaps and support targeted strategies to close them
* Motivate and inspire students to develop confidence in numeracy
* Contribute to creating an inclusive and focused classroom environment
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths graduate who meets the following criteria:
* Minimum 2:1 degree in Mathematics or a related subject (e.g., Physics, Engineering, Economics)
* Strong subject knowledge and excellent numeracy skills
* Confident communicator with a professional and positive attitude
* Passionate about education and supporting young learners
* Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, school placements) – desirable
* Interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education
