Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Location: MOD Donnington Barracks, Telford

Hourly Rate: £13.50 to £14 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working hours: Monday - Friday, annualised shift patterns typically between 07:30 to 16:30 (longer days in Summer, shorter days in Winter)

About the role

Overseeing a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives based at Donnington Barracks, you will keep the grounds in wonderful condition for our client through grounds maintenance and gardening tasks such as grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying and more. It's a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment!

Requirements

• Previous Grounds Maintenance and leadership experience is required.
• A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Willing to undertake & achieve clear DBS and BPSS checks prior to start.
• Horticultural qualifications, PA1 and PA6 licenses are highly desirable.
• Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
