Reliability Engineer - Supervisor
Location: Thetford, Norfolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:00

We are seeking a hands-on Reliability Engineer - Supervisor to lead our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) team at our Thetford site. Reporting to the Reliability & Planning Engineer, this role plays a key part in ensuring our assets run efficiently, reliably, and safely.

What You'll Be Doing
* Leading the execution of the site's 52-week PPM schedule.
* Supporting and mentoring a small team of engineers to carry out safe and effective maintenance.
* Documenting all maintenance activity using our CMMS system and ensuring accurate parts usage.
* Identifying reliability improvements, implementing approved changes, and contributing to continuous improvement.
* Ensuring critical equipment is maintained to support uninterrupted production.
* Upholding site safety, compliance, and engineering standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering within a food manufacturing or similar regulated environment.
* Proven experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team.
* Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, including PPM, root cause analysis, and reliability-centred maintenance.
* Familiarity with coating and frying equipment is advantageous.
* Good communication skills, PC literacy (Excel, Word), and a methodical approach to documentation and safety.
