We are seeking a kind, patient and enthusiastic Personal Assistant for a young man with ASD, who enjoys history, geography and films. You will play a key role in helping him grow his confidence, make new friends, and enjoy his interests in a supportive and encouraging way. Location: IP26 Main Duties: Support with social and leisure activities such as shopping and meals out Help build and maintain a friendship network, encouraging positive social interaction Support with using public transport, helping him feel confident and independent in navigating journeys Assist with forward planning and building time management skills Promote confidence and independence while offering structure and emotional support Provide a calm, friendly and consistent presence in both familiar and unfamiliar environments Person specification: Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post.
