Essential Ingredients
Working knowledge and experience of distribution management

We work as part of a family and teamwork is very important to us, managing a team of Driver Operations Team Managers that oversee around 98 Class 2 Drivers across 52 routes and 36 Class 1 Primary Drivers.
The role will work with the Warehouse and Distribution management teams on a daily basis, co-ordinating collections and deliveries of our products into our customers, as well as from third party and into our other depots and sites across the UK and resource is allocated in the right areas and monitor and investigate deliveries are made on time and in full, while maintaining customer service standards.
With your previous experience, you will identify and drive a culture of continuous improvement, with your eye on the budget and be able to manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles in accordance with Company policy, health & safety and statutory and legal requirements.

Our Enfield Bakery and Distribution site is one of the largest bakeries in Europe! We have 5 operating plants and around 500 colleagues who work a variety of shift patterns. At Enfield we have 40 different nationalities working together, and we celebrate our One Team family values. Our site runs 363 days of the year and operates 24/7!
Based in Brimsdown in North London, 15 minutes from M25, 10 minutes’ walk from Brimsdown overground, connected easily to Liverpool Street Station via Tottenham Hale.
We produce over 4.8 million crumpets per week, which is equivalent to 800,000 packets of 6 as well as producing a variety of other products. The Home of the Giant Crumpet, did you know there are 350 holes in a standard crumpet?
