Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher ready to inspire and nurture young learners in Key Stage 2? If so, GSL Education are supporting a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Hartlepool that is keen to appoint a committed ECT to join their Key Stage 2 team.
About the Role:
As an ECT in Key Stage 2, you will play a crucial role in delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that supports pupils' academic and personal development. With the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will be encouraged to innovate and grow, developing your teaching practice in a nurturing and professional environment.
Responsibilities of the ECT KS2:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum.
* Create a supportive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages pupil participation and progress.
* Collaborate with experienced teachers, support staff, and senior leaders to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
* Reflect on practice and actively engage in ongoing professional development.
* Uphold the school’s values and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Job Requirements:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with ECT status.
* Placement or teaching experience in a KS2 classroom is highly desirable.
* Strong classroom management skills and a proactive, child-centred approach.
* A willingness to learn, grow, and embrace feedback as part of your ECT journey.
* A current Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
