About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role involves delivering high-quality care in various settings, including hospice care, home care, and nursing homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and support.
Main Duties
* Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
* Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting as required, ensuring their safety and comfort.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring your vehicle meets their needs.
Skills
* Experience as a nurse, care home worker, domiciliary care worker, or in senior care is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration protocols.
* Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards clients.
* Ability to be on call and manage team responsibilities.
* Must have a valid UK driving licence.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
