Reds10, an award-winning offsite construction company, is looking an Assistant Production Manager who is motivated, able to lead a factory team and eager to develop with us. We design and deliver high-quality, sustainable buildings for the public sector and this role is key in ensuring our factory team delivers the production plan efficiently, safely and with quality at the heart of everything we do.
What you'll be doing:
* Manage daily production processes and oversee safe starts for operatives and subcontractors.
* Identify and fulfil training requirements for the production team.
* Coordinate temporary works and ensure compliance with design information and SOPs.
* Collaborate with other departments for timely material and subcontractor availability.
* Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and fortnightly plans.
* Conduct daily briefings and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
* Maintain progress records and manage production plan changes.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Monitor and control performance metrics (time, productivity, cost, quality, H&S, carbon reduction).
* Lead and motivate a high-performing production team
What you'll bring:
* Experience with assembly line manufacturing, steel fabricating, light gauge steel assembly, joinery, and dry lining.
* Proficiency with operating plant and machinery, and power tools.
* Relevant qualifications in health and safety, quality management, and first aid.
* Strong understanding of production management principles.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to mentor and develop a team including trainees and apprentices

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
