About the Role
We're excited to recruit two Buyers – ICT & EdTech to join our Procurement Services and Supply Solutions team.
In this role, you'll have genuine impact across YPO and the public sector by:
* Being the key link between suppliers and customers - translating customer needs into commercial solutions and supplier innovation into outcomes that matter.
* Influencing and optimising procurement spend - using market insight and commercial levers to create opportunities that drive value, growth, and improved outcomes.
* Developing and managing frameworks and contracts - end-to-end from strategy and tendering through to launch, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement.
* Line managing an Assistant Buyer - supporting their development and ensuring delivery against category objectives.
* Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders - across ICT, EdTech and wider functions to shape category strategy and deliver measurable results.
You'll join a collaborative, high-performing procurement team, with opportunities to work on innovative and niche projects that make a difference to public sector organisations and communities.
About You

Procurement Leadership: Develop innovative and various compliant procurement frameworks, and other strategic solutions using the Procurement Act 2023.
Customer Focus: Drive category growth by aligning your work with YPO's customer and public service ethos.
Supplier Management: Build strong supplier relationships, ensuring contractual compliance and fostering partnerships.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with new and existing customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders promoting YPO's category services and solutions.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends by analysing the market and customer needs to maintain our competitive edge.
Marketing and Promotion: Design and execute marketing plans to enhance customer engagement and awareness of our services.
