Role: Teaching Assistant Location: Banbury,Oxfordshire Pay: £24,404 to £25,183 per annum Actual Benefits About the Role As a Teaching Assistant you’ll support Key Stage 3 and/or 4 students across a range of learning environments – both in the classroom and out in the community. You will help deliver individualised education plans and interventions while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals, supporting students with a variety of learning needs and helping them develop both academic and life skills. Key Responsibilities Support individuals and groups in classroom settings Assist with homework, assignments, and exam preparation Observe students and contribute to target setting Implement student-specific interventions Support learning activities in school and the wider community Carry out key worker duties for named pupils Participate in break/lunch cover and on-call duties Promote safeguarding and wellbeing policies About You ✔ GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – grade 4/C or above ✔ Experience in education or youth/community settings ✔ Confident with Microsoft Office applications ✔ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ✔ Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive school vehicles ✔ Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team Bonus if you also have: Experience working with autistic students Classroom support experience in STEM subjects If you are interested in more details please contact us directly on 01865 727 751.
