Construction Manager �450 per shift - Inside IR35 6-9-month contract Glasgow The Role We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee multiple rail structures projects across the central belt of Scotland. Key Responsibilities -Manage the construction team, including supervisors and engineers. -Ensure plant, tools, and resources are booked to support delivery. -Oversee completion of daily diaries and ensure proper sign-off. -Review designs to confirm constructability within site constraints. -Prepare detailed programmes of work (any format) and liaise with planners to maintain the critical path. -Reprogramme works as required to meet deadlines -Uphold the highest health, safety, and environmental standards. -Maintain quality standards, ensuring remedial actions where needed. -Ensure valid inspection and test plans are in place for all works. -Keep all required documentation on site for ongoing activities. Required Experience -Proven rail sector experience. -Strong stakeholder management skills (e.g., councils, subcontractors, third parties). -Solid understanding of SHEQ requirements and current legislation -Contractual knowledge and awareness -Experience attending management meetings and delivering progress reviews.
