Medical Manager (Multiple Sclerosis)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Manager specializing in multiple sclerosis to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing medical expertise and strategic guidance for the launch of our new MS product. You will also be leading a team of 2 MSLs in the UK and working cross functionally with the wider commercial team.
This position is for an innovative CNS pharmaceutical company with a strong patient focus at the core of everything it does.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the medical expert on MS within the company, providing insights and guidance to cross-functional teams.
* Develop and implement medical strategies and tactics to support the successful launch and commercialization of the MS product.
* Manage a team of 2 MSLs
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and medical societies within the MS community.
* Provide medical education and training to internal stakeholders, including sales and marketing teams, on the disease state, product profile, and clinical data.
* Stay abreast of the latest scientific developments, clinical trial data, and competitive landscape in the field of MS.
* Collaborate with global and regional medical affairs teams to ensure alignment of medical strategies and activities.
* Represent the company at scientific conferences, advisory boards, and other relevant forums within the MS therapeutic area.
* Support the development of medical materials, including scientific publications, educational resources, and promotional materials.
Qualifications:
* Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in neurology or a related specialty.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the field of multiple sclerosis, preferably within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
* Strong understanding of MS pathophysiology, treatment landscape, and clinical trial design.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse audiences.
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and other external stakeholders.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute medical plans aligned with business objectives.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Collaborative team player with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
