Role Overview
We are seeking an Ophthalmic Imaging Technician to join the Medical Photography Service at NHS Lanarkshire. You will be part of a team of 19 staff providing Medical Photography, Ophthalmic Photography, and Graphic Design services across Lanarkshire. Based at University Hospital Wishaw, your duties will include ophthalmic imaging to support diagnostic services in Ophthalmology. You may need to work across multiple hospital sites based on service needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have an HND in Photography or an equivalent media/imaging qualification with relevant healthcare experience. Experience in OCT imaging, Fundus Photography, digital workflows, and image management systems is advantageous.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, fixed-term or secondment position for 12 months, based in Medical Illustration at University Hospital Hairmyres. The working pattern involves 37 hours per week with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. A full UK/EU/EEA driving license and access to a vehicle are required due to travel across sites.
