Full-time, Monday to Friday with flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct and review vulnerability scans, prioritising and coordinating remediation.
* Monitor Microsoft 365 Defender, Azure Security Centre and endpoint protection tools to detect suspicious activity.
* Support incident response by investigating alerts, gathering evidence and escalating where appropriate.
* Validate and monitor backup processes to ensure resilience and recovery readiness.
* Assist with patch management and secure configuration across servers, endpoints and cloud platforms.
* Provide technical input to IT projects, ensuring controls are integrated at design and build stages.
* Collaborate with the wider IT team to improve monitoring, detection and hardening practices.
Qualifications & Experience
* 25 years experience in IT infrastructure, systems or network administration.
* Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Tenable).
* Exposure to SIEM or log monitoring platforms.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure security features.
* Working towards security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent.
Skills & Attributes
* Strong problem‑solving and investigative skills.
* Comfortable with both cloud and on‑premises environments.
* Ability to work independently and with technical teams.
* Interest in continuous learning through labs and simulations (e.g., TryHackMe, Hack The Box).
