POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you ready to take your technical expertise to the next level? In this role, you will dive deep into the world of LMR (Land, Mobile & Radio) security systems. Specializing in RF design, system configuration, complex troubleshooting, and optimization, you will ensure the technical integrity and performance of LMR solutions from design to deployment.

YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM
As a key player in our organization, here’s what you will be doing:
* LMR System Design & Architecture
o Validate and update designs and BOM based on site-walk GRID Mapping surveys.
o Provide expertise in LMR systems, including analog, digital (e.g., P25, DMR, TETRA), and trunked systems.
o Develop and maintain standardized DAS system design and processes.
o Design, select, test, and standardize technology models for radio network systems.
o Oversee and assist in planning and developing radio network systems.
o Manage the MOTOTRBO Radio Management server and LMR Fleetmap.
o Research and analyze appropriate RF spectrum for LMR systems.
o Support modifications to LMR systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Technical Configuration & Optimization
o Configure and program LMR equipment at system and complex levels.
o Collaborate with vendors on testing and optimization of the LMR framework.
o Run system reports to assess performance and diagnose issues.
* Advanced Technical Support & Troubleshooting
o Provide Tier 2/3 technical support as needed.
o Troubleshoot and diagnose system and equipment failures.
o Serve as a point of contact for operational and technical concerns.
o Offer RF engineering assistance for escalated LMR issues.
o Escalate unresolved critical technical issues promptly.
* Technical Review & Quality Assurance
o Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance checks of RF designs.
o Lead RF engineering design reviews.
o Provide as-built site configuration reports.
* Research & Development (R&D) Support
o Support technical R&D for LMR technology evolution.
o Conduct hands-on evaluations, lab testing, and proof-of-concept deployments.
o Analyze technical feasibility and performance for new technologies.
o Prepare and present findings to senior stakeholders.
* Documentation & Collaboration
o Document RF system design parameters and generate RF coverage plots.
o Produce and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
o Keep stakeholders informed about LMR technical progress.
o Collaborate with other departments on radio communications requirements.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Proficiency in Motorola and supporting program tools.
* 3–5 years of experience in a technical design position.
* Experience with analog, digital (e.g., P25, DMR, TETRA), and DAS system design.

DESIRED CRITERIA
* Experience with AutoCAD, BIM365, and BLUEBEAM.
* LMR Technical Experience.
* RF design/software certification (e.g., iBwave or similar).
