We are looking to recruit a Philanthropy Fundraiser for Strawberry Field. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing support from Corporate Partners and Major Donors in Merseyside to support the work of The Salvation Army at Strawberry Field.
Key Responsibilities:
Based at the historic Strawberry Field site, you will be at the heart of developing long term and specifically support from businesses and high net worth individuals in Merseyside. You will take ownership of managing and developing fundraising relationships, proactively identifying new prospects while also engaging with current funders to deepen their understanding of and commitment to The Salvation Army. By doing so, you will secure reliable and increased income from companies and major donor, supporting Strawberry Field to meet its annual income targets.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
1. Previous experience of fundraising with a proven previous success with corporates and/or major donors.
2. Creative and innovative approach to managing and developing exciting income-based relationships.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information to donor and colleagues in a clear, effective and professional manner.
4. Able to plan, organise and prioritise a varied workload to effectively meet objectives with minimal supervision, as an individual and as a member of a team.
5. Strong and accurate numerical skills and process financial data.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Experience of Microsoft Office suite
