A well-established Yorkshire manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their growing Finance Team.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to progress their career while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. The business offers flexible working arrangements, including some homeworking days.
What you’ll be doing
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger management
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making
Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance across the business
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
Develop and enhance financial controls and procedures
Support the development and standardisation of consolidated reporting systems
Coordinate with external auditors and support year-end audit and statutory accounts preparationWhat we’re looking for
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Strong technical accounting knowledge with a keen eye for detail
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
