We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, we would also consider applications from those seeking a developmental role from a 5 to 6 working under a developmental plan. To join our Children’s Community Speech and Language Therapy Service. This full-time, permanent position is based in Milton Keynes, and offers the chance to be part of a small, supportive team while making a real difference to children and families in the community.
This highly rewarding role working across the early years and early years complex needs team offers opportunities to work closely with children, families and other professionals to support their understanding of children’s speech, language and communication needs, and facilitate the development of functional skills.
Main duties of the job
In this key role, you will support the Early Years teams in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to children with a variety of complex needs. As a senior therapist in a small team, you will support speech and language therapy associate practitioners, devising therapy plans and offering clinical guidance, supervision, and mentorship.
